The all the rage viral, Nintendo Exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been played worldwide which was believe to be therapeutic for a lot of us who could not get out during pandemic times of Covid-19. Many are catching Tarantulas, getting stung by hornet bees, trading turnips at the best price and fishing in hopes to catch the Blue Whale. As they game has reached it’s first months plus from release, it is also not new to our beloved idols as they are also getting into island building and fishing for rare fishes along their little islands.
Here’s some Kpop idols are definitely playing the game as we speak! and expressing great love and excitement for it :
The game ads had Somi for their commercials, which was pretty obvious that she enjoyed the game herself. Because she has nicely continued the game where you can see it on her ‘I AM SOMI’ series showing off her Too-much look for her character, featuring Lisa of BLACKPINK! whom also, joined in the fun as well! And let’s not forget to include Jisoo from BlACKPINK as well as she mentioned she sees here online very often, and even gave her a generous amount of moolahs to pay her tent rent. Let’s not also forget Teddy-nim who was also playing.
From articles, and live broadcasts we know that TWICE members Mina, & Jihyo are also in the game, with just recently Momo shared her island with fans! Is Heechul playing? since he is also a gamer himself! We also have IZ*ONE members trading fruits with each other with Sakura leading the pack! Although no specific videos to proof it, it was shared via live broadcast that she has been playing the game as she wakes up!
Aside, we also have legendary Tablo from EPIK HIGH trying out the game through Diane’s console here; questioning a lot about the game because he wasn’t in the hype at first – but.. the moment he knew he can customize anything he wanted to.. You can imagine a smiley excited dad getting back into childhood! And he being jealous Mario didn’t get as much hype! but you can see him being impressed with Animal Crossing as he judge the characters at the same time – Will he continue the game and make Blather proud? Enjoying puns along the way.
Check out the Youtube cut and the entire Podcast on his thoughts for the game! I had fun listening to it because it revealed a different respond from his first thought! He was hillarious when he judges the Animal Crossing Edition Switch console as Diane told him the game is sold separately, and lil raccoons is Timmy/Tommy’s new name – self declared.

Can he we have some NCTizens scream? NCT Taeyong is definitely enjoying the game as you can see videos on Vlive of him bopping to Animals Crossing’s music and his unboxing video. There’s no reveal of anything of the game, but we know for sure he is in there with an island of his own somewhere in Animal Crossing world.
Lastly, we also saw Amber from F(x) starting out her Twitch with her BOBALAND! having fans teaching her on the inside outs of the game as she plays it live. We are sure the house is quite legit now and Krystal the Tarantula is a pet in the house?
