Style Yourself with Park Jae Eon (Song Kang) in Nevertheless

Park Jae Eon in the recent Netflix K-drama, Nevertheless has been a ‘hot topic’ among the drama fans of how ‘smart’ this guy in playing feelings of the girls, especially towards Na-bi, the female lead.

Despite of the fact that he is an ultimate ‘playboy’, we can’t deny his visuals. I mean who won’t fall in love with this guy’s perfect look! I have been following Song Kang from ‘Sweet Home’ and ‘Navillera’, and one of the reason I like this actor is his genuine acting skills and the visuals.

Song Kang has been trying out different concepts of characters, if you can observe, Song Kang have his best impression as a comfortable, gentle boyfriend look, generally in his 20s. (in fact he is just 27)

In this post, let us learn to style like Song Kang (in his character of Jae Eon as a university student)! Indeed, his style is with simple and nice concept!

Korean Skincare : True Island Review | Busy Bee deserve a Honey cleanse!

In collaborations with True Island Honey Bee Line by CosmeCrush.

OMG IT SMELLS LIKE REAL HONEY!

Literally being a busy bee, it doesn’t matter male or female, we know that taking care of your skin is prioritized! unless you were born with great skin complexion, we usually would still clean with facial wash regardless. Today, we will be reviewing you some insights after 1 week use for their Honey Bee Nutri Cleansing Foam 100ml!

Foaming cleanser enriched with Royal Jelly Extract, Honey Extract, and Propolis Extract. The honey like texture reduces friction for the skin, providing a non-irritant cleansing. The fine abundant foam thoroughly deep cleans skin waste from the pore.

– True Island – CosmeCrush Korea

However, due to propolis extract as part of the ingredients; please take note that if you are allergic to pollen. The product may cause irritation. The review is solely on my personal skin conditions and may vary among individuals.

My Skin Type: Dry Skin – Flaky T-zone, Pigmentation

Here’s the review for the product! I have been regular using Korean skincare of various brands, and while there is similarities among them; the difference was quite significant – I will break it down below:

Cleansing

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Cleansing the most important in a cleanser, and for it to be the good? it does not remove moisture on the face entirely. With a small pea-size amount you will be able to foam and clean the face well. The texture is not harsh and have no grains for extra exfoliations; making it a very suitable Daily use cleanser. The honey-like texture was not obvious as per claimed; but definitely a reasonable flow of texture to assure that honey-like is justified. Its watery, but thick enough to hold. This saves alot during usage and help you manage the usage of each wash.

After-Feel

Rating: 5 out of 5.

After-Feel is the feeling after cleans with water and patted dry. The moisture of the face is kept well and having a soft and nice fresh feeling. The rinse off was easy and was not too sticky;

Scent

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I LOVED THE SCENT! The moment I foamed it; it did not smell anything, but the moment it got on the face, the honey smell was very obvious but the best part is that, it smelled like REAL honey. I am a person who loves to eat and consume honey in general and this had the same scent! I was very happy and quite confident that they had real honey extracts inside as claimed. However, although my love for the scent is great, it might be sensitive to certain individual.

Price – Affordability

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Base on the price point; RM23 after discounted rates; – and RM39 for normal price, I would say they run in a slight pricey side as there is various alternatives for Cleanser in Korea ranging RM15-20. However, Honey based skincare are usually more nourished and are known to be on a pricier rank. The tube itself is not big, but a rough estimation on my experience in usage; it would last me around 1-2months with daily minimal use of once per day.

Overall Verdict?

Aside from being a slight pricey side for a Cleanser, overall it does the job and has a good review and experience using this product. I will repurchase if the price is on RM20-25; as they have a shipping cost from Korea at RM6 flat rate. The only down side would be the price as there are alot of competitors with physical shops in Malaysia that sells cleanser at a more affordable price. Also the brand itself is quite new and not as big as brands that we know, so justification for the price will also be weighted.

Aside from True Island products, Cosme Crush Korea also sells a variety of Korean skincare that you will surely be on a lookout!

The flatrate RM6 shipping is very tempting and affordable if you find alot of your wishlist. Check them out at https://shopee.com.my/cosko.my?v=9b2&smtt=0.0.3
