Today is 1 Syawal in Malaysia, which is Hari Raya Aldifitri (or Eid Festival) among the Muslims. It is one of the major holidays in Malaysia!
During Hari Raya, Malays will wear their traditional clothing, Baju Melayu for the gents; and Baju Kurung for the ladies. In the first day, they will do prayers in the mosque, visiting their ancestors then to houses of relatives. In most families, they will wear Baju Melayu for a straight 7 days during the celebration!
Could you imagine if the hit K-pop idol BTS celebrate Hari Raya by wearing Baju Melayu?
Few days ago, a fan account in Twitter @tatapurplesyou made an effort to edit all BTS members into charming prince who are wearing different Baju Melayu! And seriously, it really looks real and I truly respect her editing skills for that.
All of them are as if they are wearing the Baju Melayu like some models on the Malaysian magazines. They truly nailed the styles and even got their ‘celebrity vibe’ more hyped up with the charming Baju Melayu! As the Malay traditional clothing comes into many choices of vibrant colours, they just look the best with them.
Let us observe carefully with each design!
